Additional Armament Abilities

  • Take Down – This ability can be added to any weapon as a mod (See items) but some weapons actually come with it. This ability forces the target, assuming they are hit, to take a (Fortitude DC 15) or be knocked prone in addition to whatever damage was dealt to him by the weapon itself.
  • Strafing – This ability is available on only two kinds of weapons Deck-Weapons (As in those attached to a ship on a permanent basis) and the Heavy Magnetic Resonance Weapon. By using this ability, the user sacrifices all of his attacks to make a special attack called a Strafe. They choose one square to target and may fire a shot at every additional target in a line while taking -2 Penalty for each additional shot. For instance: Sam takes a strafe shot at three people standing in a row. He takes no penalty for the first target, -2 for the next and then -4 for the next. Damage is rolled differently for each target.
